Dear UMC in Wayne, “Peace be with you”, Jesus declares on this 2nd Sunday of Easter, “As God has sent me, so I send you!” Could there be peace in this wounded world? What does it look like to encounter Jesus and receive the peace that surpasses understanding? Join us on Sunday as we seek answers to these questions.
*There is a need in our community:* If you have an opportunity to pick up some extra groceries for the Wayne Interfaith Network Food pantry they are asking for: canned stew, canned chili, black beans, pinto beans and coffee! We have a collection box outside of the Sanctuary doors that needs filling. Thank you , in advance, for your generosity.
*And speaking of generosity* – we are *grateful* for all who made soup & sides, ate soup & sides, shared soup & sides, sold soup & sides, and bought soup & sides! Our Soup & Sides Sale raised $1500 for the ministries of the UMC in Wayne!
