Dear UMC in Wayne, This Sunday is the first Sunday of our Lenten Journey “Windows Into The Light”! Every Sunday we will hear an ancient story from scripture and a sacred story from the present. Through these stories we will witness the grace of God as revealed through Jesus who says to us: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
This Sunday we lean into power and trust and the Gift of the Dawn. After worship the Jubilation Ringers will practice and the Administrative council will meet.
If you are heading to the grocery store before Sunday; WIN (Wayne Interfaith Food Pantry) is in need of Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Jar Spaghetti Sauce. And we are in need of packaged cookies for our coffee hour. As always: Our services are streamed online
