Dear UMC in Wayne, Last Sunday we remembered our baptisms and this Sunday we have the honor to witness the mystery of God’s grace through the sacrament of baptism!
The Olive Branch book club will meet after worship to discuss “What Remains” by Ida Smith
We are looking for volunteers to help us on Sundays! We are seeking:
– Ushers. Ushers are folks who greet people as they enter our church, hand out bulletins, hymnals, and answer any questions. – Coordinate our Acolytes. This person would make sure that we alternate our Acolytes. Acolytes are our youth who light the candles at the beginning of our service and extinguish the candles and walk out the Light of Christ at the end of the service. – Collect attendance sheets, replace Prayer cards and Offering envelopes in the pews after worship. – Clean up the sanctuary after worship.
