Dear UMC in Wayne, This Sunday we celebrate the baptism of Jesus by renewing our Baptismal vows! If you have not been baptised you will learn what it means to be baptised in Jesus’ name!
We are looking for volunteers to help us on Sundays! We are seeking:
– Ushers. Ushers are folks who greet people as they enter our church, hand out bulletins, hymnals, and answer any questions. – Coordinate our Acolytes. This person would make sure that we alternate our Acolytes. Acolytes are our youth who light the candles at the beginning of our service and extinguish the candles and walk out the Light of Christ at the end of the service. – Collect attendance sheets, replace Prayer cards and Offering envelopes in the pews after worship. – Clean up the sanctuary after worship.
