Dear UMC in Wayne, We ask for continual prayers for Tristan. Erika Barnes’s cousin’ teenage son, Tristan, was involved in a devastating mountain biking accident in Arkansas on Wednesday.
After being life-flighted, he went into a 10-hour surgery. Sadly, the prognosis is not good. Doctors are saying he will be a quadriplegic…C4 was broke and he has severe spinal cord damage. He is on a ventilator as he can’t breathe on his own, and he has no feeling in his arms or legs. His mind is 100% aware of everything. He is on morphine and can blink his eyes to answer yes or no questions. They aren’t sure if he will be able to talk. He has a long journey ahead of him – mentally and physically. We are praying for a miracle for a complete healing in Jesus name.
