Hello Church Family,
I am writing to you today to announce the passing of a former longtime member of UMC Wayne, Charlie Cheetham. Charlie grew up in the church and was married here as well. He is survived by his wife, Carolvhay, also a former member of UMC Wayne. Charlie and his wife moved several years ago to Somerset. They still attended services here in Wayne for a time until changing to a church closer to their home. Then they decided to move to Arizona, where his wife still resides.
The couple had 3 children who were part of UMC Wayne at one time as well: Caren Lee, Glen and Craig.
We offer our condolences to all who knew and loved Charlie. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers this week.
